"A crowded beach" // Self-initiated project
The idea for this project started with a doodle made during a character exploration. It was inspired by the hot and crowded summers when, despite arriving at the beach early in the morning, you find yourself defending a tiny spot of sand. Under the hot sun, seeking shelter under a tiny umbrella, trying to resist a much-desired day of summer vacation.
From this first idea and concept, I created a series of illustrations that can live individually as spot illustrations within a newspaper or magazine article or in a composition to create a dinamic and fun article cover.
